Good&Co’s quizzes were developed after an in-depth literature review of the fields of work psychology, personality and individual differences. Questions were selected carefully and analysed thoroughly to ensure our quizzes measure what they are supposed to measure. To do so we conducted qualitative as well as quantitative analyses.
We ran two focus groups in order to make sure we only include questions that are understood the same way by all people. To further validate the questions, we used data reduction techniques (principal component analyses) and compared our items to well-established and validated benchmark items to check whether they measure personality traits as we predicted.
We used statistical methods like confirmatory factor analyses to validate the factor structure of our model and conducted correlational analyses to establish that our model shows reliable associations with outcome data such as well-being and job performance.
