Baseline Engagement & Weekly Surveys
Employment Engagement Surveys provide a manageable way to continuously evaluate the engagement level of your team. These surveys focus on 6 core areas of engagement:
- Support & Recognition
- Workplace Balance
- Career Development
- Ownership & Empowerment
Surveys are disabled by default and can be enabled by clicking on Team Engagement within Good&Co Pro. For more information on enabling and using this feature, please see the Team Engagement section of the user guide.
Once enabled, each team member will be emailed a 30 question Baseline Survey. This survey provides the baseline data measurement that will be used to evaluate all future weekly engagement surveys.
After employees take the Baseline Survey, they are emailed a Weekly Survey every Monday consisting of 1 question in the 6 different areas of engagement.
Questions in the 6 areas presented within the Baseline Survey are rotated for each Weekly Survey to ensure team members are asked different questions each week.
These surveys raise awareness regarding the current engagement level of your teams and can be used to monitor progress as efforts are implemented to improve engagement.
Monitor and Improve Team Engagement
Survey data can be used to view detailed information about the engagement level of your team. No data will be present until the baseline survey has been completed by team members.
After the baseline survey data has been collected, you will be able to view the overall engagement percentage for each of the 6 categories based on the answers provided by participating team members.
To access this information, click on Engagement and then here within the Team Checklist panel of the dashboard.
The engagement data will be updated in Good&Co Pro after each weekly survey is closed. You can view the results for the current week and engagement trends based on the continuous feedback of each survey.
The Overall Engagement section shows the team engagement for each category covered within the baseline and weekly surveys. Engagement percentage levels are displayed as a team member percentage based on survey results:
Select an engagement area to view more details about your employees level of engagement (confidence, commitment, etc.). This data can be used to identify specific engagement trouble areas for the team. If engagement is low in one or more areas, practices may be implemented to make improvements.
The Trend Graph located below this information may be used to view and track engagement trends over the last 8 weeks. Here, you can see how engagement levels change over the 8 week period as team members complete the weekly surveys.
The graph can be used to monitor engagement trends and determine if applied improvement efforts are making a difference. As weekly surveys are completed, you can easily track the effectiveness of implemented measures. Additionally, it can also help in pinpointing developing engagement trouble areas before they become a serious problem!
