The Candidate Overview provides extensive details about each candidate and how they fit with the current team and/or meet specific hiring needs. You can use the FitScore Dashboard to evaluate what candidates fit based on one or more of the following:
- Existing Team Members
- Degree of Diversity (Similar or Different)
- Pre-Defined Custom Templates (Roles or PerfectProfile)
- Specific Personality Traits (Enthusiastic, Inventive, etc.)
- Resolve a Problem Area (Efficiency, Teamwork, Communication, etc.)
This configuration makes it easier to see what potential candidates will best fit with and enhance your team.
For example, if the candidate will be working closely with a specific team member, then checking fit with this individual will ensure the selected candidate is able to work with them productively.
If your team is struggling with being efficient, then a candidate needs to offer qualities capable of enhancing or encouraging efficiency within the team.
The FitScore Formula determines what factors are used to check fit for a candidate. In the example above a Role Template has been chosen.
Each candidate's FitScore shows how well they fit with the team. A higher number means they are more compatible and a lower number indicates they are probably not the best hiring choice for meeting defined team needs.
Additional information about how each candidate's personality strengths can be viewed from the FitScore Dashboard by clicking on the candidate within the dashboard.
The Strengths Card represents each candidate's Persona blend. This is the top three three personas that the candidate is most closely aligned to.
The Psychometric Profile spider chart offers a brief look at how the candidates personality fits with the team, template, or general population's personality. This varies based on the FitScore Formula.
Whew, that was a lot of information! Why does this kind of information matter when hiring to fill a team position or to make improvements to the team as a whole? Without the right information, it is hard to hire someone who is able to do the following:
- Work Well with Other Team Members
- Provide Benefits to the Team
- Remain Satisfied with their Position
- Remain a Long-Term Employee
Additionally, an unsuccessful hire takes a lot of time and resources. Knowing how well a potential candidate fits with the team and your needs reduces the risk of high turnover, dissatisfied employees, wasted time, and wasted money.

- Interaction - Sociability and Assertiveness
- Thinking - Innovation and Flexibility
- Organizational - Thoroughness and Compliance
- Leadership - Emotional Intelligence and Leadership
- Motivational - Efficacy and Seeking Challenges
- Adjustment - Resiliency and Emotional Stability
It shows areas of strength, improvement points, and suggested interview questions for the candidate. The Personality Guide offers insight for the following:
- Making Better Hiring Decisions
- Developing Team Members Per Their Individual Abilities
- Identifying Individuals Suitable for Leadership Positions
- Increasing Productivity
This information is derived from the candidate's answers during completion of the Unique Strengths Quiz along with any additional quizzes they may have completed. It is available for each candidate and can be accessed from the FitScore Dashboard.
Several areas are covered within the Personality Guide to help you make the best hiring decision. It will show how the candidate's personality fits with your team, the selected template, or general population.
For each position, a candidate may need to have a similar or different personality along with specific key traits. In this example, the candidate has similar overall personality traits compared to the selected job template's psychometric profile.
The Personality Report will be broken down to show detailed candidate information. For each work style, the report goes over the candidate's work style based on their own personality. In this example, this candidate is very sociable and outgoing when interacting with others.
Personalized interview questions are also provided to the right of each work style section in the report and can be asked during the interview process to assist with the final hiring decision.
