Team creation is a two-step process that involves creating your team (either manually or via import) and then inviting members to your team.
Upon logging into Good&Co Pro, you will be presented with a page prompting you to create your first team. You will only be prompted once to create a team.
A team may be created or imported and each option is provided at the top of the prompt window.
Add Your Team Information
The Create Your Team option on the top left-hand side will be automatically selected and prompts for the following information:
- Team Name - The name of your team.
- Company Name - The name of the company the team belongs to.
- Team Category - Select a category for your team.
As you are inputting your team information, please note that if you are not a member of this team you should deselect the radio button assigned to “I am the team leader”. By removing the checkmark from this option, you will be able to create a team without including yourself as part of the team. Once this information has been entered, click Next to continue.
Add & Invite Team Members
The next step will be to invite team members to your new team. A new entry window will be shown after entering the team information. This window may be used to do the following:
At the top of the team creation window, you will see two additional options for inviting new team members. Use the Envelope Button to invite the individual using an email invitation.
A new window will be displayed and can be used to type in multiple email addresses for the team members you want to add. Click Next after all addresses have been added to finish.
Team members who are already signed up with the email address provided, and who have their privacy settings set to be Public will resolve their email address to a name.
You will now find yourself in a window asking for you to verify that the email invitation(s) will be sent to the proper emails.
Upon verification, simply click Confirm and wait for your team members to accept your invite. If a member is in the system and has Auto-join teams set to on, an email will not be sent to them, they will simply be added to the team.
At the top of the team creation window, you will see two additional options for inviting new team members. Use the Link Button to obtain an invitation link for adding new team members.
This link may be copied to your clipboard by clicking on Copy and pasting the link to a location accessible by each team member such as the following:
- Company Email
- Internal Chat Board
- Online Published Job Openings
- Company Memos
- Social Media Message
The receiver may then click on the link to sign up for the Good&Co App or Good&Co Pro and access their team or member information.
Click Done to finish creating your team. Use the Back Button to return to the previous screen and choose another invite option.
